FAQ's

Is using a menstrual cup safe?

Our menstrual cups are crafted from 100% medical-grade silicone, making them completely free from BPA, latex, and harmful toxins. Designed with safety as a priority, Aarya menstrual cups undergo rigorous testing to ensure a reliable and comfortable experience. They meet ISO 10993 standards, are FDA approved, and have been dermatologically tested for added peace of mind.

How do I select the perfect size of menstrual cup for me?

Choosing the right menstrual cup size depends on factors like your age, childbirth history, and cervix height. Aarya Care offers Small, Medium, and Large menstrual cups, so you can pick the one that fits your body comfortably and ensures leak-free protection.

The general size guidelines state three sizes in an order. The small one is used by first timers and teens. The medium one is used by women who are above 18 years and have given birth via C-section. And the large one is for the women who are above 30 years of age and have given birth Vaginally.

These guidelines are helpful but it’s important to note that you know your body best. We do believe that knowing your cervical height is the most important aspect of picking the size of the cup (one based on length) since the vagina can stretch but cannot create more length.

How much menstrual flow can the Cup hold?

The Large Aarya Care Cup can hold up to 30 ml of menstrual fluid, making it perfect for heavy flow days and providing up to 10-12 hours of leak-free protection.

What’s the best way to remove a stuck menstrual cup?

If your cup feels stuck, don’t worry—just stay relaxed. Gently pinch the base of the cup between your finger and thumb a few times to release the seal, then slowly pull it out. If it still doesn’t come free, slide a finger up to the rim and press it slightly inward to let air in and loosen the suction. Once the seal is released, ease the cup out carefully.

Can I pee while wearing a menstrual cup?

You can comfortably pee while wearing a menstrual cup there’s no need to remove it each time. Just make sure to maintain good hygiene by keeping the toilet seat clean and washing yourself properly afterward to help prevent any infections.

Why use a menstrual cup wash?

A menstrual cup wash helps you in maintaining the hygiene of your menstrual cup. It easily removes bacteria from the cup and prevents odour and stains.

How long does it take to sterilize?

It will take around 3-5 minutes to sterilize
